About the Author

Albert Keim and Louis Lumet, French authors from the turn of the 20th century, collaborated in writing several biographies; including the biographies of Balzac, Beethoven, Dickens, and Pasteur. Most were translated into English from the original French by Frederic Taber Cooper.
